How often do you take an evening just to pamper yourself?
We New Yorkers are constantly caught up in the hustle and grind of this city, moving too fast to take any real breaks. Especially during the holidays, we have a tendency to sacrifice our health in order to get our errands run and make everyone else in our lives happy. This year, we invite you to join us in taking a moment to slow down, so you can start the holiday season off on the right foot.
Please join Faye Lessler of Sustaining Life for an evening of self-care at the Young & Able Open House. As soon as you enter our doors you will be immersed in a calm, peaceful environment full of sustainable, ethical, and women-made goods. The evening will begin with healthy beverages by Health-Ade Kombucha and a meditation session, followed by DIY facials and hand massages with resident beauty experts Oil + Water and Moyadi.
Finally, after everyone is feeling thoroughly pampered and relaxed, we will sit down for a conversation all about self-love, inner connection, and treating yourself with care both inside and out. All guests will leave with a few complementary products to aid in self-care at home as well as a better understanding of how to practice slowing down and taking care, even in times of stress.
